1/25 Embroidery Journal WS (PHL)
Join us from 1-3pm on Saturday, January 25th at Two Robbers (Fishtown) for the perfect stitchin’ class to kick off 2025! We’ll be guiding you in creating your very own embroidery journal :)
What’s an embroidery journal?
An embroidered journal is a unique way to commemorate your year with stitchin'. Small symbols are used for different happenings in each month - these can be anything! From a cool movie you saw, place you got to check out or even more important happenings that you wanna look back on and celebrate.
What’s included in the workshop?
As usual, all the supplies and guidance that you need will be at your fingertips. Each participant will receive a kit including: an 8” hoop, fabric, traceable pattern sheets with various symbols and an array of fonts for the months, a heat-erasable fabric pen, thread, needle and needle-threader all in a canvas bag and yours to keep!
You’ll also receive two hours of “hands on” guidance. We’ll be going through different techniques, step-by-step, so this class is perfect for beginners as well as seasoned stitchers who would like to apply their skills in a new way :)
