2/2 Mixed Media Embroidery WS (PHL)
We can’t wait to explore our favorite, modern style of embroidery with you in our mixed media workshop from 1-3P on Sunday, February 2nd at Dock Street South. During this workshop we’ll go over embroidery basics and delve more deeply into different techniques that’ll compliment your favorite photo to create unique and treasured keepsake or gift (this would make a reaally cute V-day gift). This class is open to beginners and seasoned stitchers alike :)
your ticket includes:
your choice of photo printed on fabric (we do the work for you so it’s ready for you to stitch!) please note: this will be sized to 5 x 5 or 5 x 7 inches and printed in black and white
a 5” hoop, practice fabric, needle and needle threader in canvas bag (all yours to take home with you!)
access to a HUGE array of thread and marking pens so that you can really make your piece your own
two hours of “hands on instruction” - in addition to general embroidery guidance, each participant will receive personalized advice on their specific piece
This class will be kept smaller (and it’s one of our most popular!), so we recommend grabbing your spot when ya can :)
